Jammu, May 30: The Inspector General of Police—Security Dr S D Singh on Saturday &K decorated newly promoted Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) P Shiv Kumar here, a statement said.
It said that a simple piping ceremony was organised at SHQs which was attended by senior officers of SHQ including SSP(Tech),Staff Officer, CPO and Private Secretary to ADGP.
On the occasion the IGP felicitated newly promoted DySP and decorated him with the rank. He congratulated the officer and stressed upon him to make innovative changes to ensure better deliverance to the people of the UT, the statement added.
The IGP said, “Security of the people and integrity of the nation should be our priority and we need to live up to the expectations of the people.”
