Jammu, Apr 14: Four judges of Jammu and Kashmir High Court were transferred on Tuesday.
As per order issued by the Registrar General (officiating), in the interest of administration, the transfers and postings of the Judicial Officers included Ramesh Kumar Wattal, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K–Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal on deputation basis against the available vacancy.
Sanjeev Gupta, Registrar Vigilance, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu vice Ramesh Kumar Wattal.
Bala Jyoti, Registar Rules, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Judicial Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Jammu on deputation basis, against the available vacancy.
Sunit Gupta, District Judge, attached in Jammu Wing of the High Court, is transferred and posted as Third Additional Sessions Judge, (designated NIA Court) Jammu, against the available vacancy.
The Officers sent on deputation shall report to the Registrar Judicial, Jammu Wing of the High Court till their deputation order Is received from the Government, said an order.
