Jammu: In its efforts to ensure complete lockdown across Jammu and Kashmir for the safety of people, Jammu and Kashmir police have registered 218 FIRs against lockdown violators. The FIRs has been registered for defying the orders of lockdown issued by the government aimed to stop or break down the chain of deadly COVID-19.
In Jammu Samba Kathua range police has registered 50 FIRs against the persons for violating the orders and in Udhampur Reasi range 13 FIRs has been registered against the lockdown violators.
Similarly, 21 FIRs has been registered against the persons for violating the orders in Doda Kishtwar Ramban Range.
In Rajouri Poonch range Police have registered 65 FIRs against the persons violating lockdown orders.
In Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Awantipora, Districts of South Kashmir Police has registered 28 FIRs against persons for violating the orders.
In central Kashmir’s Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal Districts police have registered 14 FIRs against such persons.
In North Kashmir’s Baramulla, Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore, Bandipora district, 27 FIRs has been registered against persons for violating the lockdown orders.
Jammu and Kashmir police have once again requested the people to follow the instructions seriously to help in preventing the spread of deadly COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Jammu, Srinagar Police Hospitals have established more helpline for the police personnel and their families for immediate assistance.
