Congress urges divisional administration to address water issue confronting Peerbagh residents

Srinagar :The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed anguish over the scarcity of water in Peerbagh area of Srinagar.In a statement J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has urged the Divisional Administration, Kashmir to ensure water to Peerbagh area, as the people of the area are suffering badly due to the scarcity of water.The department concerned (PHE) is not paying any heed to the sufferings of the people despite the repeated requests, as result, the residents are in anguish.“The residents do not have even little water to wash their hands, as reported by Sr Leader Mir Ruvais , especially when there is a complete chaos prevailing in Srinagar due to Pandemic COVID-19,” PCC added and urged the Divisional Commissioner to take up the matter with Chief Engineer PHE, who is fully conversant with water issue in the area to ensure that Peerbagh residents do not suffer further on this count.
