RAJOURI, FEBRUARY, 12: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today convened a public outreach camp cum public durbar at Thanamandi to listen public grievances and provide services at their door steps.The Grievance Camp witnessed overwhelming response of people from adjoining areas including Azamtabad, Manual, Plangrah, Dodassan, Rajdhani, Kote, Behrote, Lah, Alal, Khanyalkote and other adjoining villages.A number of issues were put forth by BDC chairpersons and Chairman MC Thanamandi, sarpanches, panches and locals including immediate augmentation of power supply and medicare facilities, scarcity of water, repair of damaged roads, payment of compensation, SBM and MGNREGA, PMAY payments, Release of PM KISAN installments, Rattan Peer and other areas to brought on tourism map, Generation of Ayushman Bharat cards, sanctioning of Anganwadi Centres, Sanctioning of specialists at CHC Thanamandi, Filtration plants for Thanamandi, increase in the District capex for MC Thanamandi, construction of Panchayat Ghars, construction of Hasplote -Bhangai Road, Sorta to Ghambir, alternate Thanamandi- Rajouri road, Thanamandi to be brought under BADP, sanctioning of the BSC Nursing college at Thanamandi and other related issues.
Speaking on the occasion the DDC said that the district administration is committed to provide better and adequate drinking water, power, health, education and other facilities to the people. He said that the main purpose of conducting these grievance redressal camps is to listen to the public grievances at their doorsteps so that they can be redressed in an efficient manner with the feedback obtained from such public outreach camps.
