Mumbai, May 1: There was no trading in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday on account of ‘Maharashtra Day ‘ trader informed.
The Forex Market also shut for the same, they added.
Maharashtra Day is celebrated to commemorate the formation of the state of Maharashtra from the division of the Bombay State on 1 May 1960.
