Indo-Pak Armies exchange fire along LoC in Uri

Srinagar, Apr 27: Pakistani troops on Monday violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked heavy shelling and firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) at Uri sector in frontier Kashmir district of Baramulla, officials said.
They said that Pakistani troops, fired mortar shells at on Monday evening, targeting forward posts and civilian areas.

They said Indian troops retaliated and the exchange of fire lasted for about an hour. However, officials added there was no report of any causality or damage to property from this side of LoC so far.
