To engage children in productive work, DIC Bandipora organizes online talent hunt

BANDIPORA, APRIL 23: Amid covid-19 lockdown, when schools are closed, District Information Centre (DIC), Bandipora, in collaboration with district administration, came up with an innovative idea to engage the school children in some productive work that will act as a stress buster for the children and will also provide a platform to showcase their talent.DIC invited the students of the district to a common home based online platform where they can explore and showcase their talent in poetry painting, singing, pencil sketch, poster making and public speaking videos. The students have been asked to share their work on what’s app numbers 9419422669 and 9419094988 or on official email [email protected] Information Officer, Bandipora, Jahangeer Akhoon said that the content received by the office will be reviewed by a team of the department and will be posted on social media including Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dicbandipora/ and twitter dicbandipora.
The people have been requested to motivate the children to utilize the lockdown time in productive work by trying their hand at painting, Public Speaking, Story Telling and other art forms so that they do not get bored by the continuous lockdown and enjoy sitting at home.
