New Delhi: Requesting people of the country to strictly adhere to the lockdown, declared to curb the spread of Corona virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday asked state governments to ensure that the rules and laws were followed.

Their outstanding efforts are admired by several people across India.’

Mr Puri in his tweet wrote ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going. The crew of Air India Boeing 777 led by Capt Swati Raval & Capt Raja Chauhan responded to the call of duty & displayed exemplary determination by airlifting 263 Indians, mostly students, stranded in Rome.’

Trains, metros and inter-state buses have been shut from today. The government is taking strict measures to stem the spread of the pandemic, which has claimed seven lives and infected 396 people in the country.
