Mumbai: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday dropped to a lowest level in three years and fell below the 29,000-mark.
While Sensex was currently trading at 28,869.51, Nifty at National Stocks Exchange too, lost its ground by 498 points to 8,468.80.
BSE registered its intraday high at 31,101.77 and intraday low at 28,613.05.
Among the top gainers, today, were Zee, Just Dial, Oil, NIACL and Cochinship while the the losers were Idea, Indusindbk, Infratel, Quess and Edelweiss.
