Conduct our 6th semester or we would lose academic year’: Students to Cluster University

Srinagar: Scores of students from Cluster University Srinagar on Sunday expressed resentment against the authorities for failing to conduct their UG 6th semester examinations; otherwise they would lose their academic year.
They said they are from they were enrolled in varsity in 2017 and yet their degree has not been completed as entrance exams for Post Graduation is approaching nearer.
Ateef Bhat a student local told that university should conduct 6th semester examinations, so that they would not miss the entrance exams for Post graduation in J&K and other state universities.
He said at least university should release or issue tentative datesheet, so that they can also apply for the PG courses entrance exams.
Another student, Adil Hussain said if varsity fails in conducting exams, they would lose their academic year due to negligence of the authorities.
“Usually the entrance test is being held in the month of May and June, but if university would fail in conducting exams they would lose this opportunity,” he said.
The students appealed Vice Chancellor Cluster University Srinagar to conduct their 6th semester exams, so that they would not lose their academic year.
However, VC Cluster University was not available for his official comments on the issue. (JKNS)
