Kaithai: A youth using aftermarket exhausts on his motorcycle here cost him a fine of Rs 53,000. His two-wheeler was also impounded for multiple violation of traffic rules, police said on Sunday. According to police, during a special drive conducted at HUDA Sector-19 last evening, a youth, Defence Colony-resident Veenu stopped for riding a motor cycle with loud exhausts.
He was issued a challan of Rs 53,000 on the spot over multiple traffic rule violations.
Veenu was fined for riding without a licence, registration certificate, insurance and pollution certificate, police added. (UNI)
