Sopore: A 18-year-old scooty rider was crushed to death by a passenger vehicle in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Wednesday.
Reports reaching Srinagar based news agency said a minibus crushed an 18-year youth to death in a road incident that took place in model town area of Sopore on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Rizwan Ahmad Dar (18), son of Farooq Ahmad Dar, resident of Muslimpeer Sopore.
A police officer said after proper medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to the family for the last rites. Officer said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated. (KNIS)
