Srinagar: The metrological department Wednesday forecasted that inclement weather conditions in Kashmir would prevail from Friday till 13th of this month.
Director Meteorological Department Kashmir, told JKNS that they are expecting another spell to heavy rains across Kashmir from Thursday onward till March 13.
“An active western disturbance is most likely to affect J&K and Ladakh and its main activity would be on Thursday. On 12-13th, March, there is high probability of widespread rains in plains while upper parts would receive light snow,” he said.
Lotus also said there is possibility of thunderstorm accompanied by strong gusty winds, hailstorm and Jammu would also light receive rains during the period, he said.
