Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast another spell of rain on March 12 and 13.
“As expected, light to moderate rain with Thunderstorm(Hail at isolated places) and snowfall occurred at widespread places of J&K during last 2 days,” Sonam Lotus, Director IMD, J&K here said. He said that rain with thunderstorm is likely to occur at a scattered places of J&K by this evening. He said that significant improvement is likely from Sunday, thereafter and weather likely to remain mainly dry till March 11.
“Another spell of light to moderate rain and snow on higher reaches of J&K is likely during March 12 to13,” said Mr Lotus.
He said that whereas no major weather activity is expected for Ladakh for next one week.
