SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 15: Cluster University felicitated Winners and Runner-up in Cricket, Football and Hockey (Men & Women) Teams of Cluster University Srinagar for their outstanding performance in recently held Chancellor’s Trophy at Jammu University in which 11 Universities participated in various events. In the tournament Cluster University Srinagar lifted Cricket (Men) and Football (Women) titles and were declared Runner-up in Cricket (Women), Football (Women), Hockey (Women) and Hockey (Men).
Vice-Chancellor felicitated all participating players and Coaches of the University. The felicitation function was organised at Gogji Bagh Campus of the University.
On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor interacted with the students and assured all possible support to the teams for their participation in tournaments at various levels. He stressed that Educational Institutions should pay more attention on extra-curricular activities as students learn team-work to achieve common goal from engaging in these events.
The event was attended by Dean Academic Affairs, Registrar, Deans of all Faculties, Assistant Registrar and Physical Training Instructors of the University.
