BUDGAM, FEBRUARY 13: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan in presence of District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganaie commissioned steel bridge, which came up at Rs. 215.75 lakh at Karipor, here today.
ADC Budgam, Executive Engineer R&B, Tehsildar Budgam and other officers were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner was informed that the project which includes construction of 1.10 kilometer road stretch, connecting Railway Station Budgam was completed under languishing project scheme by R&B.
The Div Com said that the project is of prime importance as it connects various government offices including DC and SP offices and will help in smooth traffic flow across the town.
He said that approach road also serves as the shortest route to villages including Mirgund, Pallar, Waterwani, Dadina, Nasrullahpora, Sholipora up to Beerwah towards Railway Station Budgam.
Later, the Divisional Commissioner also reviewed JalJeevan Mission (JJM) scheme in Budgam.
