CA Shalay Razdan elected Chairman of J&K Chapter of ICAI

Jammu, Mar 11: The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Indiaelected its new team of Office Bearers of Managing Committee for the term 2019-20.
CA. Shalay Razdan, was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Managing Committee for the term 2019-20. CA. Lalit Kumar Gupta was elected as Vice-Chairman, CA Nakul Saraf as Secretary, CA Vinay Jamwal as Treasurer & CA Arvind Dev Jamwal as Chairman of J&KChartered Accountants Students Association (JKCASA).
CA Shalay Razdan was also holding the post of Vice-Chairman in the outgoing managing committee & has also held posts of Secretary & treasurer of J&K Branch of ICAI in the past. He has been elected to the Managing committee for three consecutive terms since 2013. He is also an alumni of prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University.
Earlier, in closely contested elections held at Jammu & Srinagar, eleven members participated in the election process & above five members were declared elected for the term 2019-2022 by returning officers CA Pardeep Gandotra, CA Mubashir Malik along with officials from ICAI (New Delhi).
The members of the outgoing Committee welcomed the incumbent Committee members & wished them luck and trusted that the new Managing Committee will work for the furtherance and betterment of the Chartered Accountancy profession in general and members in particular in the state of J&K.
