Bengaluru, Dec 11: Tech Mahindra’s top deck is set to see some major changes.
The company’s president of enterprise business Manoj Chugh is moving to the group company, Mahindra & Mahindra, as president of group public affairs and member of the Group Executive Board effective January 1.
Chugh, who joined Tech Mahindra in 2013, was responsible for driving almost half of the company’s nearly $5 billion revenue. Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, Chugh was with storage company EMC, responsible for its global accounts programme.
When contacted Tech Mahindra on the development, the spokesperson declined to comment.
It’s not clear whether the company will fill Chugh’s position. It may leave the enterprise business to be run by the separate divisional heads within it. The company has grown its footprint in the enterprise business through acquisitions including financial tech firm Target Group, CJS Solutions Group and The Bio Agency. Tech Mahindra’s biggest vertical is communication, accounting for 43% of revenue. Clients in this space include AT&T, BT and T-Mobile.
In other changes at the top, the company’s chief strategy and marketing officer Jagdish Mitra will lead a newly carved out growth office responsible for aligning new digital technologies to its business strategy, and Sanjeev Nikore, president of strategic initiatives, will head global marketing. Mitra’s role has expanded in scope, encompassing alliances, partnerships and strategic projects, sources said.
In July, the company had elevated Harshvendra Soin, who was heading the firm’s Canada operations, as its chief people officer.
