Srinagar, Sep 1: National Conference has emerged as single largest party with ten seats in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil, while Congress was positioned at the second place.
Out of 26 councilor seats for which results were declared today, National Conference was ahead of others by winning ten seats. The Congress followed it with its candidates emerging victorious on eight seats. Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP managed to win two seats while her former alliance partner, BJP bagged just one seat.
Independent candidates have managed to win five seats in the elections.
