New Delhi, May 19: In a huge relief to migrants, Indian Railways announced on Tuesday resumption of more train services, saying it was going to run 200 additional time tabled trains daily from June 1, booking for which would be available online.
In a tweet, Indian Railways said these trains will be non-air conditioned second class trains.
Information of these trains will be made available soon.
The Railways appealed to the migrants to be patient and stay at their place. “Complete arrangements were being made by the Indian Railways to take the workers to their destination and for this proper coordination is being established by the Indian Railways with the State Governments,” it said.

In times of Covid-19 pandemic, the Railways said it was taking passengers to their destination with safety and convenience.
In this scenario, passengers were being sent by train to their home following the screening, sanitisation and social distancing at Prayagraj station.
