Ecommerce android application launched, DC Sgr inaugurates Sharmall Android App, Supplier Registration Portal, people can avail facility at home

Srinagar, May 13: In order to help the people while staying indoors amid lockdown over Coronavirus, an ecommerce android application was launched in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir where people can easily buy essentials without facing any difficulties.
An Android application titled ‘Saharmall’ by FZS Ecommerce Private Limited has been launched here where wide variety of products and eatables would be available for the people. Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Shahid Choudahry inaugurated the services in Srinagar.
As the lockdown in wake of deadly COVID-19 continued, the ecommerce android application especially ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr has provided sigh of relief to the residents in Srinagar. “Currently, Home delivery will be available for few pin codes in Srinagar, but it shall be extended to whole Kashmir division in coming days,” one of the owners said.The vision of SAHARMALL is to provide an online platform to the local vendors / shops to get registered and sell their products online. SAHARMALL will also provide necessary training to the suppliers to manage and sell their products online after a proper seller registration process,” he said.

Asked about the application, the android application by SAHARMALL is optimized for 2G network so that the customer of the valley will be able to shop online smoothly,” he said.
He further stated that in case of suspension of internet services, SAHARMALL has a full fledged call center in place to receive customer orders. The call center can handle multiple calls simultaneously to minimize customer waiting time in peak hours
