Srinagar, May 4: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel was injured in a grenade attack on a Power Grid station in Srinagar on Monday.
Official sources said that militants lobbed a grenade at a Power Grid station at Nowgam this evening, resulting in injuries to a CISF man. “The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where his health condition is stated to be stable,” they said.
The militants managed to escape from the spot, sources said.
Additional security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation launched to nab the attackers, they added.
