6 injured in Pakherpora grenade attack  

 

Budgam, May 5: At least four civilians and two forces personnel were injured in a grenade attack in Pakherpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

 

Reports said that militants hurled grenade towards joint party of 181 BN CRPF and police in Pakherpora during which two forces personnel were injured identified as ASI JKP Ghulam Rasool alias Dilawar, CRPF constable Santosh Kumar.

As per reports four civilians also received splinter injuries.

 

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam Nagpure Amod said that all injured are stable.

 

Soon after the attack, joint team of Army, SOG and CRPF cordoned off the area and intensified searches to nab the attackers. (KNS)
