New Delhi, Apr 26 : Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said abiding by the Centre’s order regarding the opening of some shops, the Delhi Government will allow some shops to open in the residential areas along with the essentials’ stores.He said that any kind of shop is not allowed to open in the containment areas in the national capital.Delhi CM said, ”We will also allow Medical stores, grocery stores, fruits/vegetable shops, dairy to remain open, and besides will permit standalone shops in residential areas, neighbourhood shops to also open.” However, no shopping complex, market and such place will open here, he added.
Talking of COVID status in Delhi, he said,” the last week was slightly better than the week before, for the people of Delhi. There were lesser number of cases, fewer deaths and many people went home after making complete recovery.”
