CRPF man injured in Pulwama attack

Srinagar, Apr 17: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was injured after suspected militants attacked a camp of the paramilitary force at Newa in this South Kashmir’s  Pulwama district.

Official sources told KNO that militants fired upon a post of CRPF camp in Newa area, which was retaliated by security forces.

They said that a CRPF man identified as Indar Kumar, son of Vishnu Kumar of Rajasthan of 183 battalion was injured and has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

They said soon after the attack, area was cordoned off and search operation was launched to nab the attackers. (KNO/UNI)
