Tally mounts to 12,380, toll 414

New Delhi, Apr 16: As many as 941 new Covid cases and 37 more deaths appeared in last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 12,380 while casualties to 414, Union Health Ministry said here on Thursday.
‘In last 24 hrs, there were 37 deaths and 941 new COVID-19 cases while 183 people recovered,” Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said in his daily press briefing.
Across the country, the total number of cases stood at 12,380 with 414 deaths and 1,489 recoveries.
He informed that there were 325 districts where no cases have been reported so far.
Mahe in Puducherry is one such district where no case has been reported since 28 days, the senior health official said.
There are 27 districts where no positive case has been reported in last 14 days.
