Kulgam, Apr 13: A retired Army man who was shot at by gunmen on Sunday evening at Buchroo in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, succumbed to injuries at 92 base hospital Badamibagh here on Monday.
As reported earlier the gunmen fired upon a retired Army man, Abdul Hamid Mantoo, son of Ghulam Hassan Mantoo on Sunday evening.
“He was shifted to PHC Qaimoh in critical condition wherefrom he was referred to GMC Anantnag hospital for specialized treatment,” officials said.
A doctor at GMC said that the retired Army man who had sustained bullet wounds after operation was shifted to 92 base hospital Srinagar.
