No passes required for load carriers carrying essentials: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 1: Amidst the ongoing lockdown ordered by the government to prevent spread of Coronavirus, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar (IPS) on Wednesday said that no passes are required for load carriers carrying essential goods from inter-state or within state.

Talking to GNS, IGP Kashmir said, “No passes are required for load carriers carrying essential goods from one state to another or within the state. However they are not allowed to carry passengers. Driver and helpers are advised to carry letter from vehicle owner”.
He said that this will help in uninterrupted supply of essential goods in JK.(GNS)
