982 Officers Fail To Submit APRs within time

Srinagar: At least 982 KAS officers have failed to submit their Annual Performance Reports (APRs) to the government within the stipulated time. This has prompted the government to issue a fresh reminder to them and now they have been asked to submit the same within two days.

24 February, all the members of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service were directed to submit their bio-data as per the prescribed format within a period of seven days.

However, the requisite information has been received only in respect of 292 officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, according a notification. “Information in respect of 982 officers is still awaited, which has resulted into delay of the processing of APRs on the SPARROW Platform,” it said, according to GNS. The compilation of the data is an essential pre-requisite for putting in place the mechanism of online filling of APRS, as such, the time line for submitting the information by the officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service has now extended upto March 20. “The officers are expected to furnish their details without fail,” the notifications added.
