Srinagar: An army soldier was injured in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the soldier of 42 RR sustained bullet wound in his arm during a search operation at Hayna area of Nazneenpora when his service rifle went off accidentally.
The injured soldier namely Sepoy P V Reipamso was immediately taken to army’s nearby health facility for treatment, they said.
A police officer also confirmed the injuries to the soldier. (GNS)
