Srinagar: Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband from them in central Kashmir district of Budgam.
A police spokesperson said that following specific information, police arrested two persons, identified as Mehraj Ahmad Kambay and Ishfaq ahmad Ganie, in Budagm. “Police recovered 200 grams of Charas and 240 capsules of banned drug Spasmoproxyvon from them,” he said.
He said the accused were involved in selling Charas and banned drugs to youth. “A case under relevant sections of NDPS act has been registered in Police Station Beerwah and investigation taken up,” he added.
