KUPWARA, MARCH 05: Vice-Chairperson J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board, Dr Hina Shafi Bhat chaired Bankers Meet at TRC Kupwara, here today to review the implementation of various schemes of the Board.
The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Divisional Head Khadi and Village Board, Cluster Head of J&K Bank, other concerned attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, The V-C asked the bankers to work in coordination with KVIB to ensure cent percent implementation of KVIB schemes. She stressed upon the bankers for timely completion of all the formalities to benefit the public especially the unemployed youth of the district for establishing their own income generating units under PMEGP, PMRSGP and various other schemes.
It was informed by the concerned officials that 418 cases under different schemes are under process and 45 cases have been disbursed and other remaining cases will be disbursed till the end of this month.
Later Dr Hina Shafi Bhat conducted a public meeting at Dardpora Kupwara, in which huge gathering of people participated. The public of the area raised several issues and demands related to the Khadi & Village Industries Board.
Addressing the gathering, she assured that all the genuine demands will be taken up with the higher authorities for their fulfillment.
