RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 24: Government Degree College Rajouri, organized sports festival- 2020, which witnessed participation of over 1000 students of nine colleges of the border district.
District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh inaugurated the day long sports festival-2020 here on the college campus ground.
Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kohli, Additional SP Liyaqat Ali, Principal GDC Rajouri, Shakeel Raina, Staff members of different degree colleges, senior citizens, retired government employees and scores of youth were present on the occasion.
The participating students were drawn from GDC Rajouri, GDC Thanamandi, GDC Nowshera, GDC Budhal, GDC Kalakote, GDC Sunderban, GDC Darhal, GDC Koternaka and GDC Doongi.
The competitions were held in seven games including cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Badminton,Kho Kho, Table Tennis and Tug of War and the winning team in each competition was awarded a gold medal and the runner up team a silver medal.
