Bazie Strikes Late To Clinch Win For Real Kashmir In Front Of Home Crowd

Srinagar: Real Kashmir FC on Monday gave a satisfactory outcome to home fans with Bazie Armand striking late to clinch a curtail win against Indian Arrows during an I League match in this summer capital.

Armand scored in the 70th minute to help his team get back in the mix with 18 points from 12 games, moving Real Kashmir FC again into the Top 5 on the points table.

Real Kashmir and Indian Arrows went into the match on the back of losses in their previous games though both the sides showed the crowd a good game in TRC Ground in Srinagar. Players from both the sides created many opportunities, but failed to convert them into goals.

It was only in the 70th minute, that Bazie scored a goal with a beautiful header, forcing the crowd to their feet.

The match was crucial for Real Kashmir FC as it had lost two successive matches before this win in front of their home crowd. The snow leopards were play seventh match in Srinagar after playing six games consecutive, travelling all over the country.

Real Kashmir FC coach Dave Robertson before the match had said that his team was excited about the match on the home ground. “We have had couple of disappointments. But we are focused on the game and expect to win,” Mr Robertson had said.
