Srinagar, 18th Feb, : The residents Umer lane in Qamarabad area in Srinagar are faced with innumerable problems, due to the non availability of street lights in the area and are suffering due to the bad condition of the lanes and by-lanes, which have worsened, by the combination of large scale dog menace in the area.
A group of residents from the area told CNS that in absence of lights in morning and evening hours the risk to be bitten by stray dogs has raised many folds and they therefore prefer not to venture outside their homes in darkness, especially in Fajr and evening hours.
They said that It has become virtually impossible for us to venture out of our homes in morning and evening hours, be it for any day to day purposes
