Srinagar, Feb 12, KNT: A man died on spot while his son sustained injuries after the vehicle he was driving felt into a deep gorge in Qazigun area of South Kashmir.
Police sources told Kashmir News Trust that a Wagon R (JK013F/8130) felt into a gorge after the driver lost control over it. The driver who was the owner of the vehicle died on the spot. He has been identified as Sajad Ahmed Khanday son of Ghulam Muhammad Khanday, a resident of Matigagar Kokarnag.
Qasim Sajad, the son of the deceased also sustained injuries in the accident. He was shifted to hospital.
In another road accident a local from Muniward Anantnag died after there was a collision between a motor-cycle (JK03H-8740) and an unknown Wagon R. The motor-cyclist whom police identified as Munib Ahmed died in the hospital. Police registered a case in this regard and set investigation into motion.
