Bandipora village lacks dispensary, patients suffer

Bandipora, Feb 12: The gundpora village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district comprising of over 2000 souls here have accused the health department of ignoring their plights, saying that the village even lacks a dispensary, thereby leaving the patients here to lurch at large.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the locals said that in absence of health care facility, the villagers are being forced to travel at least to nine kilometers to visit other hospitals or dispensaries.“We are being forced to visit private clinics here,” they said.Sajad Ahmad Reshi, a local resident said that despite approaching the higher ups several times in the past, the authorities have failed to come up to the expectations of people, leaving them to suffer.Meanwhile, residents demanded authorities to open up a dispensary in the village so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
