Training workshop for CSC operators held at Baramulla

Baramulla, Jun 4: A day-long training workshop was today organised here at Sheerwani hall in which about 200 Common Service Centre (CSC) Enumerators and Supervisors of Baramulla district participated.
The workshop was organised with an aim to impart requisite training to the CSC operators in connection with the 7th Economic Census 2019, which is going to start at pan India level in the month of June 2019.
On the occasion, experts from Ministry of Statistics and Programme implementation, National Sample Survey Organisation and other concerned agencies acquainted the participants about various techniques and methods necessary for carrying out the census.
Meanwhile, it was informed that Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has roped in CSC e-Governance Services India Limited for conducting the 7th economic census 2019, which is conducted across India to match the population census. The Economic Census is a complete count of establishments located within the geographical boundary of India. Common Service Centers (CSCs), under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, are readying 15 lakh enumerators for the 7th Economic Census.
