Naat Competition, Debate organised by Media Association Pattan

Pattan, May 27: Media Association Pattan organized NAAT Competition & debate on “MASHRAY MEY BEHRARAWI WA MANSHIYAT KA BADTA HUWA RUHJHAN” at Little Buds Public School Palhalan Pattan to bring out the hidden talent of the youth of Kashmir and to provide awareness regarding the masses.
Programme started with Telawate Quran with translation into Urdu and English by group of girls from Little Bud’s Public School and programme anchors of the school namely Sofia, Maroofa who were later awarded for the best anchoring in programme continued the function.
In programme various students from different institutes of Kashmir participated , recited NAATs and other related topics. In competition of NAAT first position got Muskan Ismaeel and in Debate Amir Akbar from HSS Pattan.
Some of the famous personalities of Kashmir who took part in the programme include President of BWJA Gulzar Ahmad Zargar, Ghulam Rasool Hami (President Karwane-Islami) Molvi Manzoor, Mufti Tariq Ahmad, DTI Baramulla Hassan Lone, Rashid Singhpori etc. In programme , jury was set to elect from MAP for selection of positions, the judges were Shabir Ahmad (Social worker), Peerzada Tanveer Ahmad (Zonal President Pattan JKTA), Noor-Din Hosh famous poet, Molana Shakeel Nadwi (Khateeb Markazi Jamia Musjid Pattan)
In programme Gulzar Ah. Zargar (President BWJA) in his speech touched the current situation of Kashmir about the role of Education department.
Ghulam Rasool Hami also gave a speech, he said that day by day rape cases taking place in Kashmir may be due the wrong guidance of the parents, he said Muslim parents must to provide Islamic knowledge to their children’s.
In programme Precious Kashmir correspondent Marki Aadil was awarded by Gulzar Ahmad Zargar President of Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA).
Many correspondents who belongs from various News agencies and newspapers were awarded by President of BWJA like Irfan Tilgami (Kashmir Crown) Admin Mohsin (Kashmir Tehalka) Syed Mudasir (Zee Salam) Rahi Nissar ( Gulistan News) for best reporting in the area.
Book namely Shab-e-Qadar written by Molana Manzoor Ahmad Para (Principal Norul-Harmain) also released in programme.
