Final countdown has begun

Finally, the countdown has begun. Just four days are left for the results of the Lok Sabha polls to be announced. People are anxious to know who will rule the country for next five years.
Bharatiya Janata Party seems confident and has already written off the other parties and its leaders are claiming that the party would return to power with thumping majority. On the other hand opposition leaders have intensified their activities and are giving an impression that the BJP’s rule in India is over but the news channels and other media organisations are claiming that BJP has got an upper hand.
The news channels have already started airing the exit poll results. But the exit poll results on many occasions have gone terribly wrong and these cannot be considered as the final verdict.
Kashmiri leaders are eagerly waiting for the results as they know it very well that these results would decide their future also. Mainstream parties all along have been claiming that the BJP led NDA government has choked the space for mainstream parties in Jammu and Kashmir. If BJP returns to power nothing mush would change in the Valley and New Delhi would continue to enforce its writ. But even if there is a change of guard at the Centre would it make any difference for Kashmiri leaders? This is a big question which would be answered within a few days.
The opposition parties are keeping their fingers crossed and are hoping that they would be able to cobble up the numbers to form the next government in the country. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, has emerged as the key figure and has been putting in last ditch efforts to form a non-BJP front.
