Hakeem concerned over deteriorating health of Malik

Srinagar, Apr 23: Chairman, Peoples Democratic Front (PDF )Hakeem Yaseen has expressed serious concern over deteriorating health of JKLF Chief Yaseen Malik and has demanded his shifting to Srinagar immediately so that he could get treatment in presence of his family members.
In a statement issued, Hakeem demanded shifting of JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik to Srinagar adding that reports about his fast declining health was a major cause of concern and deeply worrying for the people of the state.
He said in democracy every group or individual has a right to express his will and vouch his ideology, adding that it does not behoove well for a big democratic country like India to throttle voice of the people by resorting to cheap methods of inhuman coercion and repression.
Hakeem said that Centre should try to win hearts and minds of Kashmiris instead of victimizing them as a political vendetta which would only add to the already prevailing alienation among them.
“Centre should explore ways and means to initiate a meaningful dialogue process with the Hurriyat leadership so as to restore peace in troubled state,” Hakeem urged. (KNS)
