Congress, NC celebrating China’s veto, claims Dr Jitendra

Jammu, Mar 14: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Thursday accused Congress and National Conference (NC) of celebrating China’s Veto against India, which, he said, was yet another evidence of their stooping so low for the sake of electoral benefits. Speaking to the mediapersons on the sidelines of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) meeting here, Dr Singh said, following Jawaharlal Nehru’s “Hindi – Chini Bhai Bhai” debacle that culminated in India’s humiliating defeat in 1962 war, the Congress party should have learnt lessons.
“However, over half-a-century later, itt is yet once again proven that the misconceived notions continue to prevail on the Congress leadership’s mindset.”
Similarly, Dr Singh said, the National Conference vice-president’s cryptic, back-handed tweets smacked of perversion which was often result of frustrated political ambitions.
“From being apologetic to Kashmir separatists, militants and even hostile militant outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammad, the NC leadership has now stooped so low to draw a sadist pleasure in India’s setback on international fora,” he said, adding that those who do not have the moral authority to outrightly name and shame Jaish-e-Mohammad and Pakistan for Pulwama attack, have no moral authority or propriety to post unsolicited comments about what happened at the UN on Wednesday.
Dr Singh claimed that China’s Veto at the UN meet on Wednesday should be construed as a huge diplomatic victory for India. “China stands isolated in the world fora and even those countries which were earlier reluctant to take a stand against Beijing, are today constrained to distance themselves from it,” he said.
It is now more than evident, Dr Singh said, that China and Pakistan, both have a vested interest in continuance of militancy in India, particularly Kashmir.
