Pulwama, Mar 4: Peoples Democratic Party Monday staged a protest against the ban of Jamaat-e-Islami (J&K) by the Central Government in Southern district Pulwama.
The protest was led by PDP State Secretary Dr Mir Samiullah.
A large number of PDP workers assembled outside Circuit House Pulwama and staged a massive protest against the ban on JeI.
Dr Mir Samiullah said since elections are near, BJP works hard to woo voters at the cost of Kashmir.
“This ban should immediately be revoked. We know BJP’s sinister plans behind this move. BJP tries to win elections at the cost of Kashmiris. But it should bear in mind that its plans have been badly exposed,” he said.
He said the crackdown on Jammat and confiscating property owned by the organization and that of its activist is slam on Democracy which speaks a lot about Sangh Parivar’s plans.
