Wayil bridge remains shut, people suffer

Ganderbal, Jan 31: Wayil bridge in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district remains shut for vehicular moment causing problems for locals.
Residents of Dursuma, Manigam, Wayil, Nunner, Gutlibagh and other adjacent areas are forced to cross water of Nallah Sindh on foot and most of them turn via Ganderbal.
They said that their valuable time wastes in running around to reach their destination.
Locals alleged that administration should have asked before ten days and should construct ordinary foot bridge for people living on two sides of bridge.
They said that world Bank has sanctioned 15crore for Wayil bridge which needs to be used soon.
They alleged that no repairing is being carried out on bridge just plates are turned to make money.
Residents appealed governor administration to look into the matter.
