NC calls for audit of health sector in Poonch

Poonch, Jan 31: National Conference here has asked governor administration to conduct an audit of health sector in Poonch district.
In its press statement on the sidelines of his tour to various areas of Poonch amid ongoing rainy season, YNCs provincial president Ajaz Jan said that health sector has remained fully ignored during last government of PDP-BJP.
He further mentioned about some recent transfer orders made by Governor administration wherein specialist doctors have been transferred from Poonch with either new doctors not posted or some posted doctors have not joined.
Jan said that posting of specialist doctors is a main demand from Poonch district from last three years and governor administration should consider it.
He further said that many PHCs, ADs are still running in absence of doctors and authorities should take note of it.
He further said that entire state machines seem busy in visit of PM Narendra Modi but people living in far flung pockets of state are living on God’s mercy.
He further said that ongoing strike of NHM employees is further deteriorating the health sector of state which should be taken on priority.
He further appealed state governor to conduct an audit of health sector in Poonch district and immediate order the posting of specialist doctors where they are needed in urgent manner.
