District Youth Parliament organised at Anantnag

Anantnag, Jan 30: Government Boys Degree College Khanabal, in collaboration with NSS Units & Nehru Yuva Kendra, organised District Youth Parliament in the college auditorium today.
A large number of students from various colleges and schools and some volunteers participated in the event.
On this occasion, students spoke on various burning issues related to the challenges, presently being faced by the country.
Addressing the participants, the Chief Guest, Member Parliament Nazir Ahmad Laway, said that the future of a nation depends upon its youth and the need of the hour is to educate and train them in the right way to lead the society.
Earlier, the Principal of the College Bashir Ahmad Rather welcomed the guests. He gave the detailed information about the various objectives and aspects of Youth Parliament and and its importance for all-round development of the youth in nation building.
Among others who spoke on the occasion, include District Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra Anantnag, the Social Worker and Retired Professor AG Mir, famous Broadcaster and writer Zahid Mukhtar and writer Rao Farman Ali.
