Renzushah for wine free J&K, demands cancellation of all licences

Jammu, Jan 24: The chairman Kashmir Society International Khawaja Farooq Renzushah was chief guest at one of the most prestigious program representing Kashmir civilization presented by Kenan Mohidin Aijiz and Directed by Shahjahan.
Khawaja Renzushah while speaking on the occasion said that Kashmir to Kashgar was name of proud civilization of high level Art and culture.
He said that it was respect and sanctity of music which always vibrated in this civilization to communicate messages of love. Even Habba Khatoon queen of Yousuf Shah Chuk era presented enriched Kashmir poetry on theme of which the programme by National Bhand Theater received high acclaim on the occasion. Abdal Mahjoor and Hasrat Gada, Dr. Shafi Ishfaq and other high dignitaries’ written scholars Novelists and Sufi poets were present on the occasion.
Renzushah expressed gratitude to the Governor who patiently heated all his issues in which imposition of Ban on Wine in J&K was most important issue.
Renzushah lamented on black day when J&K Legislators passed bill for allowing use of wine in J&K in consequence of which thousands of wine licences have been given to people to spoil our pure culture both in Jammu & in Kashmir. Thousands of families are spoiled because of wine and youth has been addicted in Kashmir too.
Renzushah hoped that cultural Academy, Radio, TV and media will play their role in declaring such anti society Wine bills as null and void.
Renzushah said that history is witness of facts that anger, violence and hate is no solution to any problem. We should strengthen Purity of Sufiyat so that our Golden Era is revived. He hoped steps for introducing Sufiyat as compulsory subjects in education will be taken immediately. (KNS)
