Likeminded people joining hands must to end stalemate created by PDP-BJP Govt: Tarigami

Srinagar, Jan 24: CPI (M) senior leader and former MLA Kulgam, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday said that the likeminded people joining hands, is must to end the stalemate that was created by the erstwhile PDP-BJP bonhomie in the State.
Tarigami while talking a news agency, said that an alternative based on policies before the people is must that will bring respite to the people of the State from the situation created by the previous PDP-BJP government in the State and the confrontational policies being pursued by BJP led government in Centre.
“The time needs an alternative for the people and the likeminded persons are currently deliberating to provide a substitute to open opportunities for way forward from the present impasse,” he said, adding that the PDP-BJP bonhomie in the state was unethical and against the aspirations of people that rubbed slat on the wounds of people.
He said that joining hands should not be made as a tool to gain votes from the people but any decision in this regard should be taken for the benefits of people who have been suffering on the ground. (KNS)
