ADC B’la reviews progress under Ayushman Bharat

Baramulla, Jan 8: Additional Deputy Commissioner Farooq Ahmad Baba toady reviewed the progress achieved under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical officer, Dr Bashir Ahmad Chalko, Superintendent District Hospital Dr Syed Masood, BMOs, CDPOs, representatives of CSCs and other concerned officers and officials.
It was informed that 1.63 lakh individuals of 31,195 families are eligible for getting the golden cards under the scheme, of which 64471 have so far been registered while as the process of registration of rest is in progress.
The ADC directed the concerned to speed up pace and ensure completion of targets within one week. He also directed for organising awareness camps in remote and far flung areas to mobilize people so that the benefits of the scheme could reach to the deserving. The people have also been asked to visit their respective common service centers (CSC) for registration and generation of golden cards.
